About me
I live in Seattle, Washington, and have been driving research-based, human-centered design for the last 15+ years. I design to enable people. I’ve worked in small startups to the largest enterprise technology companies on earth, designing software experiences for consumer home networking, e-commerce, B2B/B2C data processing, quantum SaaS, and advanced IoT/digital twin energy and resource management.
At work, I am a researcher, designer, illustrator, design systemizer, and cross-functional collaborator. I love turning complex technology into simple user-centered workflows. Working with passionate teammates, through the creative problem-solving process to design engaging experiences and make people’s lives better, is what energizes me, gets me out of bed in the morning, and keeps me up working at night.
I drive much of my life through repitition and patterns, observing, learning, adjusting, and trying to do it better next time. I love time with friends / family (dog included), gardening, cooking, eating, doing art, playing and yes, working. I live curiously and love learning, creating things, growing things, traveling the world, and finding and creating new experiences.
